Why PTI??

When we talk of the prominent political parties in Pakistan,we have two options PML N and PTI the later is not nascent but gained popularity in last two years.PPPP on the other hand has jolted Pakistan with massive benchmarks of corruption and mismanagement.Intriguing question which everyone pursuits now a days is whether you support PTI or PML N.I must say that i am not a troll of PTI and just a voter of Pakistan and being a citizen i can have a choice among the two.The reason why I admire PTI is not vague. We have seen
that Imran Khan committed that we will give 25 percent tickets to youth. At that time I thought that this is just an emotional outburst seeing youth infront of your roastrum.I thought that he should not make promises,he dare not not fulfill but the time came when actually youth were given more than 25 percent tickets.
Another commendable act is intra party elections. Many allegations were there for the party that elections are not transparent in some places like Lahore.Having accepted the allegations you simply can’t shun other parts of the country where these were held with zero malign factor. One more thing is that someone has taken initiative of conducting elections within the party.By the time intra PML N  forces will also demand the same.We were listening to inceptors saying that parties should conduct intra party elections. Now there is a party with 80000 elected not selected members.
One more thing,i simply can't understand why we have a volatile memory that is disrupted with a single emotional gimmick.I have myself heard politicians saying that parties should give policies before elections as to how they will solve the difficulties faced by their state.PTI is the only party that has given education, local govt. ,Anti corruption, special education policy.
Now there is a party that is completing homework before contesting elections.
Yes political gurus while watching time from their wrist watch claim that PTI is not experienced,O please do you people want those people back who have a full time doublet or triplet experience of corruption. They manage police as if they are their personal asset.
If PML N comes into power, mark my words there will be no change in Police culture and land revenue what we call patwari system and if people want leaders having 40 crore security expenses per anum then it’s their choice. One can't stop someone to dig the grave for himself if he is hell bent for that.
Talking of the developement works that were there for people in reaction to the triumph that PTI got after Lahore jalsa. The projects including laptops, solar panels, yellow cab and lastly metro were simply economics based. No vision was there in these projects.
If you think metro is a revolution kindly find time and have a look at mayo hospital Lahore. You will feel that metro bus system is an unnecessary luxury for us.We dont have clean drinking water,we are lacking security,Bomb blasts are converting masses into pieces, street crime is now a business but were are enjoying and selling metro for political point scoring.
Danish school system, see the logic "We want to give high standard education to poor people".Can i meekly ask my dear fellows what class of society is inducted in Govt. schools.Yes people from downtrodden area are there so you should spend in those govt. schools to improve quality of education but you are building new buildings for just to show yourself kindhearted.
I begin to laugh when my fellows say that PTI is helping PPPP.Seriously who was in coalition govt. in Punjab for more than 3 years and who in coalition approved 3 constitutional amendments and more over who is
ready to take oath from President Zardari after coming into power,Yes Mian Nawaz Sharif is ready to take oath from president but Imran Khan clearly says he will not take oath under his presidency.
After proven Asghar Khan case in supreme court stating that Nawaz Sharif and others took money from ISI to tilt elections in their favour why you should vote that party. But people still feel that PML N is an asset for this country.
After 5 years of denial regarding the agreement between Sharif family and saudi officials the last day they accepted that agreement is for 5 years not for 10.
Still if you wanna go for PML N its your choice.
Fiercest strife is expected in punjab in elections and nature of Pakistani politics is fickle so one must wait to see the new govt. till 11th may

Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim and Timely elections

Though joseph stallin of soviet union and Ayub khan of Pakistan tried their level best to make people feel that dictatorship surpasses democracy albeit intellectuals and inceptors consider democracy as the best system of governance as democracy stems from fair and transparent, relentless elections.Summing up all, timely elections are a sole solution for a better system.
Considering ground realities of Pakistan,an intriguing and thought provoking question is,whether Fakhr ud din G. Ibrahim will be able to conduct upcoming elections on time.Situation of Pakistan is fickle and no one knows, what will be hapening the next moment.

Certain factors must be kept in mind that can delay elections,The most important is political parties.I am not between a rock and a hard place to state that all the major political parties are on the move regarding
elections. They are mobilizing masses and setting up their power shows. So one must shun the delay of elections when it comes to role of political parties.Only PAT(Pakistan Awami Tehreek) is arousing people not to vote in elctions.Fakhru Bhai will not face difficulty in that.
Another decisive factor of Pakistani politics is establishment, more reffered as military establishment. For the first time in Pakistan we are somewhat seeing an unbiased establishment and army will definitely not intervene to delay electoral process.
International establishment, yes definitely topple political stature of big guns in Pakistan but now they are giving a strong impression that we will not influence elections.Fakhru bhai was appointed chief election commissioner on 23rd of july last year and he knows it very well so he will be able to tackle the situation and will try his level best to make elections 2013 happen on time.
During the last five years a strong emotional power nexus between judiciary, media and masses has been made spontaneously in reaction to the oppression by the previous regime. They now feel that timely elections is the sole solution to the problems faced by Pakistan.Fakhr ud din G.Ibrahim has been the law minister in past, moreover he has also served  as attorney general and governer sindh so he owns a respect in legal fraternity and he feels that he is backed by everyone from society so he is confident enough to hold elections on time.
The only factor I am afraid of is overall law and order situation. We have seen that ANP is passing through tough times when it comes to election rallies.Ghulam Ahmed Bilour recently was saved in an attack as he was addressing a political gathering.Sana Ullah Zehri's convoy was attacked and he lost his family members in that brutal attempt. He belonged to PML N.Everyone should condemn that.
Chief election commissioner is unanimously elected. His duty is not to revive peace in the country but law and order situation is definitely grim. The touchstone of democracy is elections and Fakhru bhai can have a difficulty in organizing elections on time due to above mentioned problem. The only counter argument to this is same law and order situation in 2008 elections when PPPP chairman Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto lost her life in a suicide attack.Still elections were held though delayed from 8th january to 18th frfbruary 2008.
The 87 years old Fakhru bhai and 84 years old PM Mir Hazar Khan Khoso must work parallel to control suicide attacks in country because they are the only hurdle in timely elections.
Though PTI chirman Imran Khan and MQM's leader Altaf Hussain urged the need of some extra days for campaigns but it didn't get fame. The fiercest strife between political parties will not allow anyone to be a hurdle in the way of elections.Fakhru bhai must not pander to the wishes of anyone who wants to defer elections for broader state interest.
Fakhru bhai will have an ease in conducting elections on time due to interim setup that is visually neutral and this setup can't be prolonged for more time than described in the constitution,so delay of elections will definitely hamper utmost superiority of constitution.A vibrant media and unbiased judiciary will not support any delay in people's right to vote.So elections will be on time.
Let me finish the debate with geographical position of Pakistan.America and allies in their ouster from Afghanistan will definitely look for a support from Pakistan and for that purpose they are urging timely elections because a strong government will allow them a safe passage.
Above quoted factors strongly reveal that Fakhru bhai will be successful in conducting elections 2013 on time and allegation of being old on him will fall on a stony ground. So one must not expect delay in elections.Just cast your vote on 11th may instead of enjoying french fries at home handling television remote in your hand.

Something has changed

I am not between a rock and a hard place to decide regarding the downside that Pakistan has faced during the last five years,Talking of the militancy or economic recession, last govt. has failed many a times during their reign but let me find the silver lining of the dark cloud that Pakistan has produced during the era.Let's talk about the freedom of media,Yes media has now been a whistle blower against any of the corruption or missmanagement.Anchorpersons now are doing content based shows instead of mere ratings. The time has gone when speech and screech were mixed in a way so as to gain viewership. You  may regard it as a small fraction but eventhough it exists. One other and major aspect, the brighter aspect is free and fair, some call overboard judiciary which is playing its part as a strong pillar. The culprits who were once regarded as holy cows as they were rampant were finally brought under justice. You have seen that an elected Primeminister was dismissed on the orders of supreme court.Likewise Balochistan Govt. was also dismmed and was declared failed in resolving the issue.Karachi case is now under hearing in Supreme Court and court is ordering to wipe out NO GO AREAS.Now everyone fears regarding the famous suo moto notices that cheif justice of Pakistan takes.Supreme court has been very effective regarding the looted money that was brought back in rental power case. The culprits having nexus with bureaucracy and government were finally thinking that time has come to mend our ways and their every action was reported in media and then noted by judiciary.Shahzeb Khan case is an example that a landlord were handcuffed. That was once a dream in Pakistan that a common men might also be prominent and equal to a snobbish landlord and you have seen that Shahrukh jatoi was finally brought back from another country as he flew thinking that he is safe now.I am not going to exaggerate the issue or saying that complete justice is now easily available but some change has certainly been there.
One more issue is the fake degrees.Everyone now sees members of the parliament standing in courts and once proved absconder, finally face the music. Many have been  sentenced to jail and a lot more to be there soon. This is definitely a change.
Last but not the least is the ticket allocation by major political parties in Pakistan.PML N has a parliamentary board which worked a lot in self screening of candidates. Its a good sign that now tickets are not distributed, they are allocated after seeing the track record,Same thing is with PTI,which after an extensive intra party elections had talks regarding tickets allocation. Now political parties are thinking that people will reject a candidate if his/her past is not clean.
Let’s admit that I am not saying everything has changed in Pakistan but forsure somethings have definitely changed and this small fraction will definitely play a major role in development of Pakistan.

Round up..March

I don't actually write weekly round ups but the important events took place in last days finally compelled me not to shun them.Popularly quoted corrupt govt. of pppp and their allies ended on 16th march but during the last days they acted like leeeches, whether to talk of lifetime perks acquired by honourable speaker or to gossip regarding the sindh MPA's,wait a while Faisal Karim Kundi also took a share in the rat race to adorn himself with previleges that will be paid by our tax money.Caretaker Primeminister was the next challenge faced by govt and opposition. Now you can take it both ways, you can call it a democratic process that passed smoothly when after deadlock between PM and opposition leader followed by the same dead lock in parliamentary commmitte,ECP decided to appoint aged 84 Mir Hazar Khan Khoso. All the parties finally showed trust in him but at the same time people regarded it as a PPPP triumph. You can also call it failure of  politicians to reach on a consensus.

.In the meanwhile indian agency revealed a news regarding the disgruntled behaviour of Bilawal Zardari with his father,The president of Pakistan.PPPP narrated it as a false story and according to Rauf Klasra,Sanam Bhutto was sent to conceal in this matter.Caretaker CM of Punjab was appointed by parliamentary committee in Punjab.Senior journalist and a seasoned P.R specialist Najam Sethi was appointed CM.He looked ambitious but his colleagues hollered a lot regarding his journalistic role and ever increasing relations with international establishment.23 March Jalsa of PTI finally gave a shut up call to all those who thought Tsunami has vanished.Electrifying crowd enchanating slogans and roaring NAYA Pakistan adorned Minar E Pakistan.Being unbiased let me say that i was a part of it and crowd was electrifying.
I will not say much as you can simply google it.Moreover PML N should also show their power in Lahore. They have their support in Lahore too but  people dont know, why they are reluctant in doing so.They have launched election compaign by doing a jalsa rather impressive in Mansehra..
Last  thing is ticket  allocation to candidates and filing of Nomination papers.Every Party is discussing as to whom should the ticket refer regarding the new rules implemented by ECP and media power that shows the real face of every candidate as he or she is nominated.PML N also had conversations in 36 membered parlaimentary board and PPPP also had talks.PTI on the other side faced much difficulty in the process.Asif Ahmed Ali and Inam Ullah Niazi were disgruntled with senior leadership on the issue but Imran Khan says that he and his party has allocated tickets on merit.A senior journalist has tweeted that PML N has allocated 30 tickets to close relatives of sharif family whereas on the other side, one can simply see that Inam Ullah Niazai was unable to have the ticket despite having the relation of cousin with Imran.
11th May will decide which party is popular among people and who is to be the next king. One thing to be kept in mind is that the turnout in the coming elections will be much larger, let me predict that and definitely educated and learned people will too find a time to cast their vote,to whatever the party they like.
